Richard P. Tibbils, Au.D.

Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Tibbils, a U.S. Army Veteran, has been a practicing audiologist for the past 16 years and is widely regarded as an expert in hearing aid prescriptions with extremely accurate diagnoses and fittings. He is also highly skilled in cerumen management, tinnitus management, and inner ear balance disorders. 

Dr. Tibbils’ passion for correction of communication problems began while working with his younger daughter, born with speech and language delay.  As she began to improve, he became increasingly involved with audiology, earning his Masters degree from the University of Kansas in 1995, thesis defense in 1996 and later, his Doctorate from the Arizona School of Health Sciences. 

During his 15 years in the Kansas City area, Dr. Tibbils completed his fellowship with the Kansas City VA Hospital and immediately began as director of the hearing and balance center at the Kansas City Ear Clinic.  Three years later, he co-founded a new hearing and audiology clinic and after 4 more years, opened a solo practice in Lawrence, Kansas.  Today, he is both pleased a grateful to have exported his skills to Southwest Florida to help all who need to hear.

Sri is a licensed Hearing Aid Specialist in Venice, FL. and has been with Hearing Clinic of Venice, Inc. for more than a year.  Sri comes with exceptional people skills and technical background with a thirst for implementing the latest technology to the hearing aid industry.  He’s a very friendly person and attentive to understand and best fit our patients need.
